New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is celebrating his team’s first-ever win with a new look, and he’s putting some holiday decor on his walls.
The Jets’ players and coaches were already busy decorating the practice field Thursday as part of the team’s celebration.
Now they’re taking it a step further, decorating their practice room with a giant holiday tree.
The holiday tree, created by Giants offensive lineman John Jerry, is the centerpiece of the practice room.
A sign outside the window reads, “New York Giants.
The tree is a gift from the team to its fans, according to team owner John Mara, who wrote on Twitter, “Happy Holidays from the #NYJets to the people of the world.
The love is too great to express.”
The team has decorated the locker room walls throughout training camp and this season, but this is the first time they’ve been on the field.
