Get ready to get dressed up for the grand opening of the new dorm at the University of Minnesota, as the campus’ new decor and theme will have you jumping out of your skin.
The decor is the brainchild of U.S. President Donald Trump, who named the campus as a Presidential National Historic Landmark in May, calling it the “New University of MN.”
The theme is a mix of old-world and modern, featuring a new-style marble wall and a large mural of the campus with its trees and the words “Minnesota.”
It also includes a small room featuring a red, white and blue “Minnesota” logo, as well as a small dining hall with a mural of two red, orange and blue Minnesota flags.
There will be two dining halls, a dining room and a study room for the new students.
There is also a large conference room.
The new dorm will be the fifth dorm built at the university and the third in the Twin Cities, joining the Minnesota Center for the Arts, where students are taking courses.
The students who will be moving into the new space are being encouraged to bring their best outfits to the dorms.
Some of the rooms have been decorated with a “Minnesota Minnesota” theme.
The dorm is expected to open in the spring.
